About the Company
Bonus Stage Talent Guild is a nonprofit society promoting and creating opportunities for video-game-inspired performance art and culture. Bonus Stage has been organizing events for nerdy entertainers and entertainees since 2015. What started as an annual variety show with video-game-inspired musical, comedy and burlesque acts has blossomed into a bevvy of nerdy events in cities across Western Canada as well as online.
Incorporated as a nonprofit society in 2020, Bonus Stage shifted its activities to Twitch where it gained worldwide popularity and notoriety for hosting monthly concerts and album listening parties featuring acts from around the globe. These connections led to many other opportunities for Bonus Stage, consulting for and making appearances at other established conventions and music festivals such as MAGWest, VGM CON and the Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo.
Bonus Stage continues to create opportunities and events for video-game-inspired performers with our Beeps n Bops concert series, 8-Bit Burlesque series, monthly Rock Band Karaoke gaming nights, Let's Listen online listening parties, and our initiatives with other conventions and festivals.
